Want your own Mouse custom painted?

Cost will vary from $75 - $125, depending upon the complexity of artwork and type of paint used for the base color.

Some paint colors may require custom ordering & mixing. We use "House of Kolor" brand automotive paints only.

All of the artwork is hand painted with Airbrush, no stickers.

You must dismantle the Mouse yourself. Send us just the shell. I can do this, but must charge you extra!

Turnaround time will vary between 2 - 4 weeks after receiving the Mouse shell. Maybe less depending upon work load.

If you have questions or would like a quote, email me off list. Please don't post your own inquiries here. Thank you!

I've got a G7 and the cover looks identical to the G5,i've not tried it but you could probably dismantle the G7 the same way.

All Mice welcome! this G5 was just used as an example, thanks to our customer, Stompfest!

Include the following in your email
1. Mouse brand & model.
2. Background color you want the mouse shell painted.
3. Image or logo we're painting on the shell

The G5 has a rubberized grip surface. This has gotta go for two reasons. #1 it's ugly! lol
#2 we want a smooth surface before we apply the paint.

I suggest using a Red Scotchbrite pad. It's abrasive enough to remove the rubberized effect without making deep scratches in the plastic. You can buy these pads at Autobody paint & supply stores. You'll want to roll up a piece of cloth to prop under the mouse shell as illustrated here, otherwise you could brake the plastic.

10 minutes later, the shell is ready for an adhesion coat of primer.

Going to paint your own Mouse? I suggest using any brand of automotive "Flexible Primer" spray paint if you're painting your mouse yourself. You must apply this before your base color coat.

We use a HVLP spray gun to apply a White Gloss automotive polyurethane base color to the G5 Mouse's shell for maximum durability.

Image

After the White Gloss base color has cured, the surface is scuffed for adhesion before the artwork can be hand painted onto the G5 mouse.

Mnpctech painter, Brad Galvin uses a print out of the Stompfest logo for reference. Free hand painting takes a lot practice and patience.

Once the artwork is finished, the paint is allowed time to cure and finally top coated with automotive polyurethane clear coat for maximum shine and durability.

Next update is the re-assembly of the G5 Mouse with it's newly paint shell!

Nicely done, but the left and right mouse buttons are a bit... empty
